508 players from 11 sports participated in the event which was held on 26-28 August 2016 in Küçükçekmece, İstanbul. Athletes showcased their skills in throwing and competitive aba, belt wrestling, shalwar wrestling, oil wrestling, ashyk games, mangala, mas wrestling, horse show and acrobatics, mounted javelin, mounted archery, archery and kökbörü. Nearly 200,000 people visited the festival, where various workshops were established and traditional children's games were played.
